Frequently asked questions
What is CBD?
CBD is the short term for Cannabidiol. It is one of the most common occuring cannabinoids in the cannabis and hemp plants.
It is mostly found in the flowers (buds) and leaves of the plants.
How do i take cbd?
There are numerous ways of taking CBD nowadays. The most popular being in edible form in CBD Oils and or CBD based edible products.
For the fastest/ most efficient way to absorb CBD Oil place a few drops under the tongue and hold it there for around 30 seconds.
However adding oils to smoothies or snacks will still work perfectly fine.
What is the best time to take cbd?
There are a lot of conflicting opinions on this topic. Some people prefer to take it early in the morning as part of their morning ritual,
while others prefer to take it at night. People using CBD to alleviate symptoms often use it 3 or 4 times a day, so it is really mostly a personal
preference.
Our recommendations however are:
If you take CBD as a daily wellness supplement take it in the morning
If you take CBD in order to improve sleep quality take it an hour before going to bed
If you take CBD for sports recovery take it at least 3-4 hours AFTER training (some post work-out inflammation is beneficial for the body to function)
for the best recovery results
If you take CBD to alleviate some symptoms experiment with different times of the day and find what's best for you!
You can always contact us for specific recommendations :)
what is the difference between cbd and thc?
As the two main ingredients in the cannabis plant, it can be easy to
confuse CBD and THC. But other than both being called cannabinoids, they
are not the same thing!
High levels of THC are commonly found in the
popular plant but less so in the case of CBD products (<0.2%).
THC is considered psychoactive and is the cannabinoid which "gets you high".
CBD is reassuringly
non-psychoactive and is known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties.
Will CBD help with my condition?
All our products are sold as food supplements only to help promote
everyday wellbeing. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or
prevent any disease.
does cbd interact with my existing medication?
As always, you should consult with your doctor prior to taking any new
supplements or medications to ensure there are no conflicts in their
effects on your system.
are your cbd products legit?
It is important to be able to trust the quality of CBD products you
purchase as the market is still in its infancy and many brands are
mislabeling products and selling them. As CBD products are already quite
expensive it is important to trust that you're getting what you're
paying for (i.e. that a 3000mg CBD Oil actually contains 3000mgs of CBD
and that it's not just a weaker oil just labelled for profit). This is
why we only stock genuine brands that are constantly third-party tested
and have built up a reputation in the industry! So in a nutshell - Heck Yeah it is!
